Sometimes the thing you need isn't complicated. You just want to say the thing out loud to somebody, and have them take it seriously, and not have to manage how they feel about it afterward.
That's what this is. You pay $7, you get a link, and a real person is on the other end of it — usually within a few minutes. You can tell them as much or as little as you want. You never have to give your name.
They're not a therapist and they won't pretend to be one. They're a person who's lived a while, chosen because they're warm and honest and good at listening. Sometimes that's the whole thing you were looking for.
A real person is affected by what you say
That's the part AI can't do. When you tell a person something heavy, it lands somewhere. Being heard requires someone who can actually hear you.
No history, no consequences
Unlike a friend, they don't know your ex, your family, or the version of you from three years ago. You can be honest without managing anyone's opinion of you.
You don't have to be in crisis
Most people who use ImHurd are fine. They just have something on their mind and nobody free to say it to right now. That's reason enough.
It ends when it ends
One conversation. No account, no follow-up emails, no subscription quietly renewing. You can come back whenever, or never.

Questions people ask first.
- Is there really a person on the other side?
- Yes. Every conversation on ImHurd is with a real human being. No AI, no scripts, no chatbots. If you ever feel like you're not talking to a person, we'll refund you.
- How quickly can I talk to someone?
- Text conversations usually start within a few minutes. You'll get a link right after you pay — open it on your phone and start typing. Phone conversations are scheduled for a time you pick.
- Do I have to explain why I need to talk?
- No. You can start with 'I don't really know where to start' and that's a completely normal opening. There's no intake form, no questionnaire, and nothing you have to justify.
- Is it anonymous?
- Yes. You don't create an account, you don't give your real name, and your phone number is never shared. The conversation is between you and one person.
- Is this therapy?
- No. ImHurd isn't therapy, counseling, or crisis support, and the people you talk to aren't clinicians. It's a real conversation with a thoughtful person — which is a different thing, and sometimes the thing you actually wanted.
- What does it cost?
- A 10-minute text conversation is $7. A 25-minute text conversation is $16. A scheduled 20-minute phone call is $25. You pay once, per conversation. There's no subscription.
